Dr. Ali is a Board Certified Rheumatologist. He opened Comprehensive Rheumatology Care PLLC in November 2006. The office is conveniently located in Hendersonville. There is minimal wait period for consults and most health insurance plans are accepted. He believes that an early diagnosis and aggressive drug treatments are keys to prevent damaging effects of arthritis. By controlling the disease, we can limit the joint deterioration and thus “Adding Life to Years”.
Diagnostic challenges and therapeutic dilemmas are positive factors in the field of Rheumatology. Ali decided to choose this specialty because of the broader scope, as the diseases tend to be multisystem. “As a physician it is gratifying for me to see even small gains. I find rheumatology to be intellectually challenging as the physician is not only treating a chronically debilitated patient but also dealing with frequent psychological problems and ethical issues” said Dr Ali. “It requires both physical and emotional stamina to work with the patient’s family and being empathic to their long standing illness”.
Dr Ali derives his confidence from perseverance. Dr. Ali believes that his family and educational background has influenced, designed and strengthened his character as a descent, compassionate and competent physician.

Vision and Values
Arthritis statistics compiled by the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion say that Arthritis and other rheumatic conditions are the main cause of disability in the USA. Costs to the U.S. economy totals more than $86.2 billion annually. Currently an estimated 43 million adults in the USA reported being diagnosed by a doctor to have some form of arthritis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, gout or lupus. By the year 2030, they estimate that 64.9 million citizens will have been formally diagnosed with an arthritic condition. Inactive lifestyles is clearly a factor in the growing number of cases. Consistently people who are overweight or obese are being diagnosed with arthritis. Arthritis patients have significantly worse quality of life than those without arthritis. Arthritis has an attributable risk of 18.1% for major depressions. At CAC we educate and empower patients to take control of their life. We provide aggresive treatments to limit the damaging effects of arthritis. The goal is to protect and restore joint mobility.
Over 45 Million people in the U.S do not have health care coverage. This impacts the health and economics of our community. This also limits the longevity of the individuals without health insurance. Patients with arthritis or other Rheumatic diseases are particularly vulnerable and without treatment many become disabled. At CAC we have easy payment plans for individuals that don’t have health insurance. CAC’s vision is to provide quality health care to our community members. This sense of community and service separates us form the rest.

“I am so thankful to be a patient of Comprehensive Arthritis Care. Dr. M Ali is so detail oriented and professional. He and his staff are so kind and pleasant to deal with. I would and have recommended this practice to others who are suffering with rheumatological conditions . I suffered for nearly 5 years prior to finally being referred to Dr. Ali! He has changed my life for the better.” - J. Griffin, March 18, 2021
“All my life I had been treated as if I was nothing more than an attention seeker by doctors. All of that STOPPED on my very first visit here. I had never had specialists who actually listen. Who would take the time to sit down and really find out what is going on. …As for us, we feel this place is an extension of our family. That is how deeply we trust this team. I've had several rough issues over the years but they are always there to get us through them.” - Sheriann Kirby, March 05, 2021
“Dr. Ali is by far the most wonderful, caring, doctor I have ever met. He listened to everything I said and heard everything I said. I had no idea what was wrong with me, until I met him. He said four special words to me that I will never forget, and I quote, ‘I will help you.’ He did, he is now treating me, caring for my health, and the knowledge he has is amazing when it comes to RA. - Carol Walters – June 09, 2020
